About Adventist Beliefs

This is the web version of Adventist Beliefs, the Android app by Advenz, to study the 28 beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and their full biblical basis from any browser.

Why it exists

This application has been developed by Advenz to provide a tool to study the 28 beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, because at the time of its publication there was no app that included the whole biblical basis of each belief. We hope more Adventists can get to know in detail what they believe, and that people of other denominations can know what we believe. We hope it is a blessing.

What are the 28 Beliefs?

The members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church accept the Bible as our only creed, and through the history of the Church the 28 fundamental beliefs have been defined and divided into 6 doctrines. These beliefs are based entirely on the Bible and are accepted worldwide by the members of the Church.

Information sources

This application uses the King James Version of the Bible to show the verses, and the fundamentals exposed in the book "Seventh-day Adventists Believe: A Biblical Exposition of Fundamental Doctrines", taken from public sources on the Internet. The Spanish edition uses the Reina Valera Actualizada and the book "Creencias de los Adventistas del Séptimo Día"; the Portuguese edition, the Almeida Revista e Atualizada and the book "Nisto Cremos" (Casa Publicadora Brasileira).
